Real-Time Route Information
The Lower Anthracite Transit System (LATS) is proud to partner with AVAIL Technologies in providing real-time route information for all bus routes.
Check on the "Route Schedule" page, use the myStop® web application or install the myStop® Mobile app on your phone to check out where the LATS buses are!
Areas of Service
The Lower Anthracite Transit System (LATS) has three permanent routes and one seasonal route that take thousands of passengers annually through Mount Carmel and Shamokin.
Near the end of 2023, LATS brought two more buses into our fleet and in the Spring of 2024, we plan to expand to create a Sunbury Route bringing passengers from Mount Carmel and Shamokin into Sunbury.
Conduct
Causing disturbances or harassment of other passengers or the operator is strictly prohibited.
Fighting, throwing things, pushing, shouting behavior and vulgar language are all forbidden.
Anyone who intentionally assaults a transit operator or destroys transit property will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
